Beasley was a minor character in the film, Saving Private Ryan. He was a soldier serving in Charlie Company of the 2nd Ranger Battalion during World War Two.

Beasley landed on Omaha Beach in June 6, 1944 as part of Operation Overlord. He survived the landing, but was killed on the beach at some point during the battle.

A few days later, Captain John H. Miller|Captain Miller]] selected him to go with him to find Private Ryan, but learning that he had died he chose Mellish instead.
