The Czech Soldier was enlisted by the Nazis when they occupied Czechoslovakia. He was stationed in Normandy at Omaha Beach. When he was surrendering, he tried to tell two American soldiers that he was Czech but they shot him as they could not understand him and thought he was trying to surrender. One American insultingly claimed the Czech said, "Look! I washed for supper!"
