Private Garrity was a Paratrooper and one of the Ramelle Paratroopers during World War Two.

Biography

He dropped with the rest of the 101st Airborne into Normandy, France on D-Day. He was then rounded up by a Colonel to go and defend the town of Ramelle. He and his comrades are joined by Captain John H. Miller and his men.

During the Battle of Ramelle, he was positioned on a hole with Rice, Miller, Reiben, Ryan and Lyle and he helped to disable a German Tiger Tank with Rice by blowing off the treads with Sticky Bombs. When the Germans responded with a 20mm, he was one of the men falling back to the Alamo. On his way, he was killed when a panzerschreck shell launched Fallon into the window.

Trivia

  • The way he died is debatable. He was either killed by the 20mm or the panzerschreck, but he was most likely killed along with Fallon since the soldier seemed to be the exact same soldier killed when Fallon was launched into the window.
