Private Goldman was a minor character in Saving Private Ryan. He was one of the soldiers in Staff Sergeant Hill's squad.
He had parachuted in to Neuville on D-day He was responsible for calling runners up to Hill. Hill even called him Goldy once. This may be his nickname among his squad though it is never confirmed.
He survived the crossing through the town with Miller's squad. They were confronted by s group of German soldiers but were saved by Captain Hamill's intervention. He was last seen walking to the church with the rest of his fellow soldiers.
