The M-1 Garand was the standard rifle for the American soldiers. The M-1s are used by the paratroopers and some of [[Miller's Men|Miller's men]] including [[Corporal Timothy E. Upham|Upham]], [[Private Adrian Caparzo|Caparzo]], and [[Private Stanley Mellish|Mellish]]. It's considered by one of the best weapons of the World War 2, and possibly of all time. It was one of the first semi-automatic rifle. It was later the base of the famous automatic M14 assault rifle in the Vietnam War.
