The Medical Officer was an American officer serving as medic, on D-day; during World War Two.

Biography

The officer landed to Omaha Beach with the 2nd Rangers Battalion. He tried to heal a soldier, Deforest, who was dying, when he was suddenly shot in the hip through his canteen, distracting him from treating Deforest.

While he treated is own wound, Wade healed the severely wounded Deforest, when Deforest was suddenly shot in the head. Him, Wade and another medic then reached the dam. Once down, he cared for the wounded and took care of the yard. Given Wade survived while being around the officer for the rest of the battle, the man likely survived.
