Mike Cessacchio was an American paratrooper of the 101st Airborne Division whose name was mentioned in the film, Saving Private Ryan. At some point, he was killed in action in France during World War II. While sifting through a bag of dog tags removed from the dead paratroopers to determine if Private James Francis Ryan was among them, Captain John H. Miller and his squad discovered the dog tag belonging to Mike Cessacchio.
