Biography

This Paratrooper jumped on D-day in Normandy, June 6, 1944. He most likely got seperated from his Company, and went to where his Company's DZ was on June 11th. When Captain John H. Miller asked if anyone knew where Private James Ryan was, he asked Joe if a Ryan buddied up with Michaelson. Joe said yes, and he asked Joe to get Michaelson to where Cpt. Miller was.
