Eventually, they were joined by Miller's Men, which formed the Ramelle Defenders. He and PFC. Jackson (One of the Rangers), were positioned in the belltower. Jackson's duty was to pick off any German Soldiers with his Springfield Sniper Rifle, while Parker covered him with his 30 cal. machine gun.

During the battle, Parker was able to kill any German Soldiers that got past his side of the belltower. He eventually ran out of ammo, however, which left Jackson to kill any Germans. Jackson was able to kill all the Germans in the area, but his sniper fire attracted the attention of a Panzer Tank. Jackson yells a warning as he and Parker are killed by a shell from the tank.
