Short was an American soldier that landed on Omaha Beach. He was ordered to charge the Nazi post. He also assisted in taking a machine gun nest by first covering his fellow soldiers and assisting in killing the gunner when they came falling down the hill when Jackson shot an ammo crate causing it to blow up, resulting in the gunner falling down the hill.
It was unknown what happened to him after taking the nest.
